
Morrie Warshawski, writer and national media consultant, is the former executive director of the Bay Area Video Coalition and The Media Project, Inc. His clients over the last 25+ years include dozens of independent film/video artists as well as the National Endowment for the Arts, President's Commission on the Arts and Humanities, John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and WGBH-TV. He is the author of the newly updated SHAKING THE MONEY TREE: HOW TO GET GRANTS AND DONATIONS FOR FILM & VIDEO (2010, Wiese Books) and the editor of THE NEXT STEP: DISTRIBUTING INDEPENDENT FILM & VIDEO (AIFV/New York).
