GRAPHIC DESIGNER/WEBMASTER

Reports To: NWFC Director
FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Hours: Part-time (flexible/variable schedule; occasional weekends or evenings)
PRIMARY PURPOSE
This position is responsible for in-house print and graphic production and web site design and
maintenance. Duties include design, production management and interface of print and
electronic communications supporting programming, marketing and development activities.
Essential Job Functions:
• Manages the design, content and maintenance of the Film Center’s website.
• Assists with the development and implementation of web marketing activities.
• Develops and maintains online ticketing, registration and sales systems.
• Layout and production of the Film Center’s bi-monthly exhibition schedule/School of Film
catalogue.
• Designs and produces brochures, posters, invitations, signage, banners and other
promotional materials.
• Maintains communication and coordination between Film Center departments in
publication and web site optimization.

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Art or film background preferred
• Experience building dynamic web sites using PHP, ASP and JavaScript on a
Macintosh-based platform. Familiarity with RSS feeds.
• Mac proficient and experienced with HTML, CSS programming dynamic web
applications using PHP, and MySQL.
• Demonstrated design proficiency with In Design and Photoshop.
• Experienced in database management
• Excellent writing and proof reading skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Requires excellent multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills.
