Submit a Film
The Portland International Film Festival accepts submissions on a seasonal basis. The submission season runs from the beginning of March through the end of December, and culminates with the festival each February.

Submit an entry form and a copy of the work (for jurying purposes only) on 1/2″ VHS tape or DVD. Label screener clearly with name, phone, title, date, and running time. Please include publicity stills for the work; other publicity materials are welcome. Please do not use fiberfill envelopes as they damage tapes/equipment.

Volunteer for the Film Festival
The Portland International Film Festival would not be possible without the amazing support from our dedicated volunteers. If you'd like to join our volunteer team and assist with ushering, line control, ticket sales, marketing, and other fun and interesting opportunities at the festival, then plan on attending the mandatory orientation. Volunteers can earn free admission to films at the festival and to Northwest Film Center programs later in the year.
