:

NORTHWEST FILM & VIDEO FESTIVAL:
The Northwest Film & Video Festival is the most prominent forum for independent work by artists living in the Northwest. The Festival presents features, documentaries and short films, chosen by a prominent member of the independent film community such as Gus Van Sant, Todd Haynes, producer Christine Vachon and SIMPSONS creator Matt Groening.

REEL MUSIC FESTIVAL:
Reel Music, the Film Center's celebration of music on film, treats music lovers to some of music's most intriguing artists (both celebrated and little known) offering a filmic take on sounds, roots and personalities from bossa nova to indie rock.

JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL:
The Portland Jewish Film Festival explores themes of spirituality and Jewish identity throughout all parts of the world, especially how American Jews perceive themselves in a larger social context. The films, in their abundance, touch on tragedy, embrace humor and recount the emotional and tangible gains and losses of a people.

YOUNG PEOPLES FILM & VIDEO FESTIVAL:
The Young Peoples Film & Video Festival, produced by the Northwest Film Center's statewide Young Filmmakers Program, presents works by young people in grades K-12 living in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah and Alaska. The Festival identifies and celebrates artistic excellence, technical achievement and originality in work created by individual students, schools and youth organizations.
