Make New Visionaries
In addition to great film-going, Silver Screen Club subscription helps support the education and outreach programs of the Northwest Film Center. This includes the Center's School of Film and the Young Filmmakers Program for Kids + Teens which places professional media artists in school and community settings throughout Oregon. These programs provide hands-on learning experience in film, video, and animation; intensive teacher workshops in moving-image media; and the annual Young People's Film & Video Festival which encourages the work of young media makers and viewers from elementary to high school.
