THE 10-MINUTE RULE
Seats for advance ticket and pass holders are held until 10 minutes before showtime, when any unfilled seats are released to the public. Thus, advance tickets or passes ensure that you will not have to wait in the ticket purchase line but do not guarantee a seat in the case of arrival after the 10-minute window has begun. Your early arrival also helps get screenings started promptly. We appreciate your understanding. Advance ticket holders who arrive within the 10-minute window but are not seated may exchange their tickets for another screening at the Ticket Outlet or obtain a cash refund at the theater. There are no refunds or exchanges for late arrivals or for missed screenings.

BarCamp NW Film

Saturday, November 7, 2009
10:00 A to 4:00 P

How better to sort through the many dilemmas confronting filmmakers today than to conjoin with your creative comrades and share perspectives and experience? Inspired by the software community phenomenon, the “BarCamp,” this user-generated un-conference will bring collective minds together to show and tell, inspire and be inspired, and generally share the wealth. This is a forum where you can become a co-organizer by suggesting topics, offering a presentation based on your interests, and contributing to the free flow of ideas. In advance of the event itself you review the growing participants list and begin posting ideas. On Saturday, November 7, at the School of Film, names and topics will be listed on a grid on the wall, a poll will be taken, and a final schedule of 45-minute sessions will unfold. Everyone from Super 8 aficionados to Oscar winners can propose an idea for a session, select a topic to lead, or ask a question in the group discussion. Even if you’re not an expert, other folks in the room will add their own insights and bingo!—there’s a real exchange of ideas.
