Record Audiences Attend the 28th Annual Portland International Film Festival

Record audiences of over 33,000 attended the 28th Annual Portland International Film Festival this year taking in 160 screenings over the 17-day Festival.

The Audience Award Winning films, brought to you by the Sundance Channel, will be announced in this Sunday's Oregonian. They will include awards for Best Film, Best Documentary, Best New Director, Best Portland Film and Best Short of the Festival.
Preparations are already underway for next year’s 29th PIFF coming to Portland February 10-25, 2006. Stay tuned for another year of International cinematic travel.
