Director Circle
Director Circle membership admits you to all regular admission Festival
and Northwest Film Center programs for one year. Silver Screen Club
members may present their membership card at the theater entrance without
waiting in the ticket purchase line. Silver Screen Club membership cards
are non-transferable. Silver Screen seats are guaranteed until 10 minutes
before showtime. Silver Screen Club members are also invited to attend
press screenings which begin January 29th.
Producers’ Guild
Producers’ Guild membership entitles the holder and a guest to
a reserved seat at all Festival and Film Center year-round screenings
as well as all other benefits of Silver Screen membership. More important,
it represents the financial support that helps guarantee the future
of this annual event and the Center’s many other programs and
services. Producers’ Guild reserved seats are held until showtime.
Passes and Advance Tickets
Please keep in mind that many Festival screenings sell out and there
are often limited tickets available at the door. Advance tickets ensure
you get to see the films you want without waiting in theater ticket
lines. Please note (see below) that advance tickets only guarantee admission
until 10 minutes before showtime.
Silver Screen Club passes and advance tickets for all programs are on
sale daily, 11 am to 7 pm, February 5–28 at the Festival Ticket
Center, 901 SW Taylor @ Park, next door to the Guild Theatre. Advance
tickets are sold up until one hour before a film’s screening,
until 6 pm, on the day of the screening; on weekend days, advance tickets
will stop being sold two hours prior to show-time. Same-day tickets
are then only available at the theater 30 minutes before showtime.
Mail and Phone Orders
Tickets and passes may also be ordered by mail. Make checks payable
to the Northwest Film Center and include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
Mail orders received within five days of the first requested screening
date will be held for pickup at the Festival Ticket Office for all screenings.
There is a flat $3 per order handling charge for phone orders. No phone
orders on the day of show. Call 503-228-PIFF (7433).
The 10-Minute Rule
Advance ticket, Sponsor Passes and Silver Screen Club member seats are
held until 10 minutes before showtime, at which time any unfilled seats
are sold. Thus, advance tickets or passes ensure that you will not have
to wait in the ticket purchase line, but do not guarantee a seat in
the case of late arrival. Your early arrival also helps get screenings
started promptly. We appreciate your understanding. Advance ticket holders
who are not seated may exchange their tickets for another screening,
or obtain a cash refund, at the Festival Ticket Center. There are no
cash refunds or exchanges for tickets to programs that do not sell out.
Separate Admission
Each showing is a separate admission. A ticket for a 7 pm program does
not include admission to the following 9 pm showing. Theaters will be
cleared between screenings. Advance ticket holders for a film immediately
following the one they are attending will be guaranteed admission to
the second film, but they may not save a particular seat. Please take
your belongings with you. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Film Center scrip and comps, PAM passes, Regal, student and other regular
passes or discount admission tickets are not valid during the Festival.
