Audience Award Winners

The Northwest Film Center congratulates The 27th Annual Portland International Film Festival’s award winners based on audience surveys conducted through paper balloting as well as online voting hosted by OregonLive.com.

Yoji Yamada’s “Twighlight Samurai” from Japan took top honors as the highest rated feature film screened at the Festival. Mongolia’s “The Story of the Weeping Camel” took Awards for Best Documentary with that film’s directors, Byambasuren Davaa and Luigi Falorni receiving “Best New Director” honors.

The audience’s Best Short Award goes to “This Charming Man” from Denmark.
