
Andrew Dickson is a West Coast artist who uses video, PowerPoint, music and audience interaction to create satirical character-based performances .
His current project is AC Dickson: eBay PowerSeller, an hour long multi-media show performed with Susan Beal. It has been presented by the Portland Institute for Contemporary Arts 2004 TBA festival, the 2005 NottDance Festival, Tramway in Glasgow, Scotland, Reed College, and Highways in Los Angeles. His previous performances include An Evening with Bradlee, There’s a Humungous Fungus Among Us, Our Next Guest is..., and WREN. His films include Nate Preston: King of Portland, My Name is Bradlee, Hunter Dawson, Autographhss.com, and the feature Good Grief. His work has shown at festivals, galleries, colleges, and theaters throughout the US.
He is also a screenwriter, an actor, and an antique dealer, and frequently collaborates on projects with his wife Susan Beal and friends Bill Bailey and Steve MacDougall.
