| Q: |
What is the Best of the Northwest Film & Video Festival Tour? |
| A: |
The Best of the Northwest Film & Video Festival Tour is a collection of films selected by the Northwest Film Center from our annual film festival. The films are packaged together and sent to colleges, museums, theaters, and community centers. The tour allows communities that might otherwise have no access to independent film and video to experience a film festival in their own city, and generates income for the artists represented. |

| Q: |
How does it work? |
| A: |
As a venue owner or booking agent, you can book the tour for any available date. You will pay the Northwest Film Center a negotiable fee for the use of the tour, and you are permitted to charge any amount you wish for admission. We will provide you with the tour films on whichever format you prefer, along with printed promotional materials. After the screening, return the films and unused materials to the Northwest Film Center with the enclosed screening report. |

| Q: |
How much does it cost? |
| A: |
Booking fees for the tour are negotiable, and are based on your location, the capacity of your venue, and your ability to pay. Contact thomas@nwfilm.org for more details. |

|
| Q: |
How much should a venue charge for admission? |
| A: |
Since communities differ in what they feel is a reasonable fee to see a film, we defer to the venue to decide how much to charge for admission to the screening. |
| |
|
| Q: |
Where does the money go? |
| A: |
Fees collected from the Tour are divided evenly amongst the artists on the Tour once expenses are deducted. |
| |
|
| Q: |
My venue does not normally show films. What kind of equipment do I need? |
| A: |
All a venue needs to screen the Tour is a screen, video projector, and DVD player. |
| |
|
| Q: |
Will the Film Center help to promote the screening? |
| A: |
We will work closely with you to make sure that your screening is as successful as it can be and we can help you to write a press release to ensure that your local media covers the event. |
| |
|
| Q: |
I like some films on the tour, but not others. Can I select individual films and screen them? |
| A: |
No. The Northwest Film Center is only authorized to distribute the films on the Tour in the context of the Tour. Any other public screening is a violation of the copyrights of the filmmakers. |

| Q: |
Who pays for shipping? |
| A: |
The Northwest Film Center will cover shipping to your venue. You are responsible for returning the Tour and all unused promotional materials immediately following the screening. |
